Weber 22” Original Kettle® Premium Charcoal Grill
Buy the Weber 22-inch Original Kettle Premium for everyday charcoal grilling with an enclosed ash catcher and hinged grate.1
The alternatives
Other contenders
Weber 26” Master-Touch™ Charcoal Grill
Choose the 26-inch Master-Touch for more total cooking space, with 588 square inches across the main grate and warming rack.3
For feeding a crowd
For a larger food layout, compare the stated cooking-grate area rather than assuming a serving count.13 The Ranch Kettle provides 1,104 square inches for buyers who need a much larger grate.13
For keeping ash contained
Choose an explicitly enclosed receptacle when enclosed ash collection is a priority.1 The Original Kettle Premium pairs its enclosed receptacle with a hinged cooking grate.1
For prep and serving at the grill
A stated side table gives you a surface beside the grill; check its dimensions for your setup.12 The Performer Premium Smart includes a side table on its cart.812
For watching the fire from your phone
Look for stated app connectivity when phone monitoring is part of your grilling setup.12 The Performer Premium Smart includes app connectivity alongside its side table.12
For restocking coals without moving the food
A hinged grate gives you an opening for adding charcoal without lifting out the whole grate.1 The Original Kettle Premium includes a hinged grate for that access.1
